
Michael has 20 years of experience as a legal professional, nonprofit adviser and governance consultant, and has dedicated his career to helping others achieve their goals. With integrity, strong practical skills, and tireless dedication, he uses his big picture vision and attention to detail to help clients succeed.
After growing up in New Jersey, Michael earned a BSM from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He then began his career in banking and earned an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University.
In 1996, Michael moved to Minnesota and attended William Mitchell College of Law, graduating and passing the Minnesota Bar in 1999. As an attorney, Michael has been in private practice with a focus on nonprofit organizations, estate planning, and sports and entertainment law.
Michael has extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations, advising in the initial stages of a nonprofit startup, successfully navigating transitional phases, and building capacity for the future.
Michael’s unique experience allows him to provide advice on legal, financial and governance matters. He understands that building a high-achieving organization requires both a solid governance foundation and a strategic business plan.
