“We have an open and ongoing investigation into this matter.” – Connecticut AG
November 3, 2021
Quinnipiac University in CT, out of the blue, closed the much beloved Irish Hunger Museum. Irish Americans in the NY and CT area have rallied to try and save the museum. The effort has recently drawn the attention of the CT Attorney General’s office. State AG’s offices are typically charged with overseeing nonprofit organizations and significant changes often have to be reviewed and sometimes approved by regulators before they can be completed. There have been a number of articles lately about this museum. This is one of the first that indicated the AG will be involved.
